HOW TO GET TO KIDEPO NATIONAL PARK.
Kidepo national park is situated in Uganda and is one of the best places to spot the Big five wildlife safaris. Kidepo national park is a score savanna landscape with few mountainous bodies.
The distance from Entebbe international airport to Kidepo national park is roughly 560 to 800 kilometers by road. Kidepo national park is large national park in Karamoja region of the north Eastern part of Uganda and covers an area of 1,442km. The park is near to beautiful mountains of murungole and River Narus. It’s also a home of birds over 476 bird’s species and 77 mammal species. Kidepo national park boarders Kenya and south Sudan.

Getting To Kidepo by Road.
Driving to Karamoja is quite rewarding with fascinating landscapes, a vast and variety of wilderness. However, road conditions are sometimes poor but very essential with 4WD vehicle. These are possible routes as listed below;
Kampala-Karuma-Gulu-Kitgum-Kidepo = 571km
Kampala-mbale-Sironko-Moroto-Kaabong-Kidepo= 740km
Kampala-mbale-Soroti-Moroto-Kotido Kabong-kidepo =792km

Flying is the fastest means to reach Kidepo national park in Kidepo Airstrip. Domestic flights take 2 to 3 hours offering a beautiful Ariel view of Uganda savannah. Charter flights to Kidepo national park can be arranged by aero link were it always flies on Wednesday, Friday and sometimes Sunday departing at 12;30pm and arrive to Kidepo national park at 2;45pm. Return flights leave at 3;00pm and land in ate Entebbe by 4;30pm.
