Day-by-Day Itinerary
transfer to queen Elizabeth national park.
You will be picked up by our Express Safaris representative and then you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your arrival in the park, you will check in at the lodge. In the evening, you will go for an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park aiming to catch the lions hunting in the morning. Lions usually hunt as the day dawns since the temperatures are cooler. You can also expect to see the Uganda kob, elephants, buffalo, warthog, leopard, and waterbuck.
game driving and boat cruise at kazinga channel
After an early morning breakfast, you will depart at 6:00 am for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park aiming to catch the lions hunting in the morning. After the game drive, you will transfer to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy boat cruising on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Some of the best wildlife viewings are done on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, passing squacco herons, pied kingfishers, large numbers of buffalo and hippo, basking crocodiles, and very many different bird species and large mammals. This is one of the most memorable experiences from the park. Over 300 hippos are found in the lake. In the evening, you will head back to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive to see animals which you might have missed during your morning game drive
transfer to Kibale national park
Check out of your accommodation and have heavy breakfast as you prepare to bid farewell to queen Elizabeth national park. This journey will take you to Kibale national park, home of the largest population of chimpanzee in east Africa. The scenic drive offers glimpse of rural life in Uganda, as you pass through picturesque villages and lush countryside.

You will fuel up with a delicious breakfast before embarking on an exhilarating chimpanzee-tracking adventure in Kibale national park. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you will trek deep into the heart of the forest in search of these remarkable primates, observing their behaviors and interaction in their national habitant. In the afternoon after the tracking, you will have the opportunity to engage with the local community and learn about their traditions.
